The Air Life brand Air x flow incentive spirometer is disposable and designed for exercising and measuring of volume flow. The device helps preoperative and postoperative patients increase their lung volume by keeping the instrument’s inhalation-sensitive ball suspended with their inhalation. The flow passages vary in diameter, affecting the effort required to raise the ball. The ball stays suspended as long as the patient maintains this effort. The flow indicator dial can be adjusted to indicate flow rates by mL/second. The device includes spirometer housing, detachable base plate, 12" segmented corrugated tubing with 22 mm OD and mouthpiece.

Air Life ® volumetric incentive spirometers Our Air Life volumetric incentive spirometers simplify deep breathing therapy with an intuitive design that prompts patients to correctly perform and monitor their own breathing exercises, even without direct supervision. A patient goal indicator can be adjusted and allows patients to monitor their own progress. Dual-sided calibrations clearly identify achieved volumes of up to 4,000 mL capacity. The flexible tubing lets the patient adjust the mouthpiece for use in various positions, and a mouthpiece holder provides storage when not in use. Available with or without a one-way valve.
