Steris-BD-V. Mueller

Dear customers, More than 100 years ago in Chicago, Vinzenz Mueller started a small storefront business to provide physicians and surgeons with fine instruments and exceptional customer service. Mr. Mueller was guided by the principle that keeping all promises made to his customers—even if at a cost—was essential to the long-term success of his business. Since then, V. Mueller has set the standard for service in the industry, which is still part our company culture today. The tradition of making fine surgical instruments continued when William Merz started as an instrument apprentice for Mr. Mueller in 1928. Driven by the idea of improving the lives of patients, Mr. Merz used his specialized knowledge and skills to translate surgeon problems or ideas into more efficient surgical instruments. His passion for advancing quality surgical instrumentation helped build his reputation as one the best-known instrument makers in the world. We are thankful for the thousands of innovative surgeons, operating room and sterile processing professionals, and other healthcare personnel who have collaborated with us to develop our high-quality, innovative new products. Today, the V. Mueller and Snowden-Pencer instrument lines include more than 25,000 instruments used in hospitals across the globe. We are also proud of our craftsmen and supporting staff who continue our tradition of providing high-quality surgical instrumentation and customer service for customers everywhere.
